Karina is a proud product of the Inland Empire and daughter of immigrants. She is a first-gen college graduate having earned Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Law & Society and International Studies from the University of California Irvine. After undergrad, Karina worked four years professionally in San Diego and Sacramento advocating for public health policies across the state. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the University of California Berkeley and has experience working at the California Energy Commission, US Government Accountability Office, UC Office of the President, and UC Berkeley Labor Center. Karina is excited to continue advancing her career in public policy and opening doors for future changemakers.
