Bringin' the Heat to 6th Grade!

Welcome Sixth Graders!!!  The 2026-27 school year will mark myeighteenth year teaching full time.  I am a proud graduate of Clovis High School and I received my Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and my Masters degree in Reading Instruction from Fresno State.

When I'm not teaching, I like to spend time with my husband of 36 years, Derrik, and my three children, Austin (30), Ashley (27), and Adam (25).  Austin races asphalt sprint cars all over the Western United States.  Austin graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, owns Carter Taekwondo and is the head coach of the Fresno State Taekwondo Team.  Ashley graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and she is a morning news anchor for KBOI Channel 2 in Boise, Idaho.  Adam races outlaw karts all over California.  Adam is attending Western Governors University pursuing a business degree and owns a screen printing and advertising business, Hyper Print Comany.  When we aren't racing, we enjoy camping in the mountains and spending time at the beach.  I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you this year!
