Families,

Welcome to 1st grade, Mrs. Roza’s class!  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  I can’t wait to celebrate, and hope you do along with me, the many areas in which your child will grow this year.    

Let me introduce myself.  My husband Steve and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary this summer.  We have 2 children, Holden and Hailey, and 1 grandchild, Lukah.  Holden is 30 and resides in Missouri with our grandson.  Hailey is 24 and is also a teacher in CUSD. She just got engaged this summer, so we will be gaining a son-in-law. This will be my 28th year of teaching 1st grade.  I really enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and taking hikes.     

I look forward to meeting you at Back to School Night on August 15th, or on the first day of school.  The first day of school will be Monday, August 19th!  On the first day we will be getting to know each other and building relationships.  It is going to be a great school year, together as a team it will be amazing!

I am so excited to meet you all and get started.  Communication is going to be so important, right now email is the best way to contact me.  I have included my email address below.  As the school year begins we will be able to communicate in a variety of ways, remind, phone call, notes, etc.  So, stay tuned for more information to come.  Stay healthy and safe!
