Spellings: there, because, Christmas, dusted, spelled

Count forward by 10s from different starting points (1, 11, 21... 6, 16, 26....)
Doubles plus 1 (Neighbors - These numbers live right beside each other on the number line) - Think doubles! 6+6 =12, so 6+7 is the same as 6+6 plus 1 more!
Doubles plus 2 (ALMOST Neighbors - These numbers ALMOST live right beside each other on the number line, ex: 5+7 has just one number in between separating them) - Think: If you have 5+7, take 1 from the 7 and put it with the 5. Now you have 6+6, so just double the number in the middle! OR you can double the smallest number (5) and add 2 more!

We continue to work on personal narratives. We have been working on writing strong beginnings for our stories, and using descriptive words that will help put pictures in the readers heads. We will continue to work on stretching our moment out with interesting details!
