IMPORTANT ----We now have 3 volunteers. 2-3 more would be great!
Grade 2 end of year field trip is Friday, June 20th to Shining Waters. Volunteers are needed! For Shining Waters you require a Vulnerable Sector Check (responsible for small groups may not be under direct supervision of homeroom teacher). You will need to provide me with your birthdate and your full name as stated on your driver's licence. I will provide you with a letter from the school for your police check. This will enable you to have your police check done at no cost to you. Shining waters is a busy spot with lots of water play. Ideally, there would be 1 adult for every 2 children. Hoping to have 6 volunteers. First come first serve! This is a busy time of year for police checks with all the schools planning end of year field trips, so it will take a little longer to process, so if you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!
A few notes about sunscreen if you are sending it to school with your child:
Please teach your child/children how to properly apply sunscreen (in good proportions - not too much and not too little).
Please do not send spray sunscreen.
Remind your child not to share sunscreen with friends as some individuals are allergic to the products in the sunscreen.
Some students have been bringing a stick sunscreen and it seems to be working efficiently.
Have a fantastic week everyone
