Mme. Martino

Bonjour! My name is Madame Martino. I have taught French and Spanish the past 20/vingt/veinte years in CT at elementary, middle and high school levels. This year I am teaching two French 1 classes to 7th and 8th grade classes at Eliot Middle School, and one class each of French 2 CP/H, French 3 CP/H and French 4CP/H at Morgan. My son is in 7th grade this year and I'm very excited to teach that grade level because I love the age! I had the pleasure of teaching 8th graders last year and am very happy to do so again. I am working with last year's 8th graders as FRESHMEN at Morgan this year in French 2 and my French 2 and 3 students from last year are moving on to the next levels of French. As you can imagine, I teach French from the first words of "Bonjour!" to "Si tu pouvais faire n'importe quoi dans la vie, que serait-il?"/If you could do anything in life, what would it be? It is a broad but thrilling way to appreciate language in its continuum.

Should you accept the Google Classroom invitation that you will receive in early September, you will receive weekly e-mail updates regarding your students' assignments in French. Homework, project, quiz and test grading is located on Power School. With any questions, concerns or comments, please be in touch via e-mail or the phone number below. Connecting with you is a vital part of the educational process. Merci bien/Thank you so much.
