Celebrity 

Project: Students were asked to draw their favorite celebrity. They then gridded the image and paper. Their task was to fill each box with a different texture AND to empty the pen. (Everyone emptied their pen!) They were allowed on black box. All the other boxes had to be filled with a different texture, but still look like the person they were drawing. Students used different types of drawing techniques such as stippling, scumbling, hatching, and cross-hatching. They used these techniques and other textures to create different values.
