Dear School Three Families, August, 2025
I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all of you as we begin a brand-new school year at School No. 3. As the principal, I am honored and excited to lead such an incredible community of educators, parents and students.
We are very excited for our students to return to school and we have been preparing our building all summer for your child’s education, health, and safety.
As we prepare for our opening day, please take a moment to note important dates and procedures below:
September 2nd 2024 is our Kindergarten Orientation. Orientation will begin at 2:00.
Please report to the all purpose room for a brief meeting, then to meet your child’s teacher.
Please don’t forget to bring your Kindergartener and their school supplies!
(Please put their name on all items).

SEPTEMBER 3rd - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for Kindergarten-Grade 4 -8:30-12:30
SEPTEMBER 3RD, 4TH & 5TH & ARE HALF DAYS - 12:30 dismissal.

September 8th - First FULL DAY OF SCHOOL 8:30-2:55
First day of AFTERCARE
September 15th - MARK YOUR CALENDAR! School #3 - Parent Visitation Night - @6:00
The RealTime Parent Portal should be open towards the end of August. When it opens, you should receive an email with your log-in information. You can log in by going to our district webpage www.cliffsidepark.edu (Look under Parents/Parent Portal). Once logged in, you will be able to see what teacher your child(ren) has been assigned to. You will need to complete many important forms within the portal.
KINDERGARTEN PARENTS: You will receive Parent Portal Information through an email as well.
On September 3rd, students will be sent home with folders and paperwork that is extremely important for you to complete. We ask that you please do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and return no later than Monday, September 8th.

ENTRANCE PROCEDURES
KINDERGARTEN:
Entrance: Kindergarten & First Grade students (Except Ms. Guider and Mrs. Hutchinson) line up outside the Large Modular in the Parking lot. Teacher lines are marked by signs with their names.
Mrs. Hutchinson and Ms. Guider’s first grade students as well as all Second grade students line up on the side of the large modular building by the security booth.
Third and Fourth grade students line up by teacher signs located on the side of the all purpose room.
All Students should arrive no earlier than 8:20 A.M. - Late bell is at 8:40. Students arriving after the late bell must enter through the security booth.
Please be sure to get your child to school on TIME!
In inclement weather, students will be brought in their buildings or the gym depending on their grade level.
DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Staff will notify parents if their dismissal door is different from arrival. Feel free to ask staff on the first day, we will have plenty of staff on hand to assist you with questions or dismissal information.
