Musical Theater Camp

Experience the exciting aspects of musical theater - auditions, vocal technique, improvisation, choreography, and more.

During the camp, they will learn and develop:

• proper vocal technique

• acting and audition skills

• improvisation and creativity

• simple choreography (enhanced coordination and fitness)

• improved communication, self-expression and problem-solving skills

• engagement in music which increases empathy, emotional resilience, attention span & focus, language abilities, and so much more!

• Finally, Musical Theater is FUN!

The camp will be led by Sarah Dalby. Ms. Dalby is a native of Southwestern Virginia, graduating with a BA in both Instrumental and Vocal music from Bridgewater College, and an MM:Music Education from Lee University. She has worked in public education as a high school choral director for 20+ years and as a worship Pastor for 15 years, which has allowed for her to direct school, church, and community choruses as well as direct and produce over 15 musicals in both Virginia and Tennessee. She currently serves as the Creative Arts Director and IT Director at Christ's Legacy Academy in Athens, TN. She considers her passion and purpose to be to help the younger generations to discover and develop their God given strengths and talents to help better the world around them.
