Forensics 

Through hands-on experiences in the discovery of a crime, crime scene investigation, and evidence analysis, you will go beyond the classroom and gain the edge you need for college and a future career in crime scene investigation. Topics covered include evidence collection, forensic anthropology (bones), fingerprint analysis, blood (synthetic) typing analysis, DNA analysis, and ballistics. Participants will begin the week documenting and collecting evidence from a crime scene and setting up the CSI laboratory. Introductory lectures are followed by intensive laboratory experiences that promote hands-on activities as participants work to unravel the crime.
