Apps available for use
CISD Technology uses a managed Chromebook and Chrome environments so the applications available on the devices are managed by CISD. If you are needed additional support on applications, please submit a ticket for your request.
Google Drive – allows the storage and sharing of documents. This can be accessed worldwide.
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides – equivalent to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint respectively without the need to install any software.
Classlink - This is the portal the district uses to access Canvas and other digital tools used in the district.
Testnav, STAAR – special apps used by the district for testing and other special purposes. (Chromebooks)

Open the Chrome browser
Click the “add person” button located in the upper right hand corner
Click “sign in to chrome”
Enter your email
Studnet ID number @student.clevelandisd.org
Example: 12345@student.clevelandisd.org
Enter your password when prompted. Passwords will be reset to a default which is first name initial and ID number.
Example for a student named John Doe and ID#123456 - John's default password would be ----- j123456
When asked to Sync and Link CLICK YES. There may be two screens.
