Freshman Academy School Counselor
Meet your school counselor
Hello!
I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Emily Cooley, and I am the new school counselor at Burns High School. I am so excited to begin working with the class of 2025!
As the 9th grade school counselor, my mission is to promote academic, career, and social/emotional development among all students. I will also support student’s ability to learn more about themselves. This is a great time for students to discover their interests, and to plan for their future. To achieve these things it is important to me to work closely as a team with parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure your student receives the support they need to guide them through their high school years.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. My office is located in Student Services, Room 101. I look forward to working with you throughout the school year!
