As a User Interface Design Analyst, you will help to further design and improve ClearMechanic’s user interface and user experience design for a global software company changing the automotive industry. Responsibilities:

- Report to User Experience and Design Manager.

- Understand and empathize with all stakeholders in automotive repair process: consumer, mechanic (technician), service advisor, shop owner, OEM/manufacturer, insurance companies.

- Passionate to listen to and understand our core users, who are repair shop employees (mechanics and service advisors).

- Excellent instincts for user interface design, including modern, clean design.

- Understand difference between user interface design and user experience.

- Be a perfectionist! Push us hard to create the best possible experience for users!

- Proactive, gets things done!

- Communicate with team members in different departments, including sales, marketing and support teams.

- Communicate with developers and Business Analyst, clearly and precisely, in both English and Spanish language.

Candidate MUST have the following characteristics:

- Passionate about joining a fast-growing software company changing the automotive industry!

- Excellent English speaking and writing skills. The development team primarily speaks English and is based in Russia and Eastern Europe. Our sales and support team, and our customers are, based in Mexico. Therefore, the person must be comfortable speaking and writing in English (for developers) and Spanish (for customers and other team members).

- Previous experience with UX for business users and consumer users.

- Previous experience with UX research.

- 3-5 years previous experience with UI design. (sketch)

- Previous experience working on web application design.

- Previous experience working on mobile application design.

- Previous experience working with Android and IOS guidelines

- Previous experience making interactive prototypes for final users. (invision, marvell, just in mind, other.)

- Participates in fun company events with the rest of the team.

- Interested in being a long-term leader in the company; does not treat this as a "project."

- Excited to live in Puerto Vallarta!
