Tech Crew is responsible for building and painting set pieces and large scenic props for each production. Days are assigned based on the applicant’s request and as space is available. Work days run until 4:45 unless otherwise specified.
The selection order is detailed below:
1. 8th Grade: Prior Wydown Costume or Tech experience
2. 7th Grade: Prior Wydown Costume or Tech experience
3. 8th Grade: No prior Wydown Costume or Tech experience
4. 8th and 7th grade students on the Wait List (applied two or more times without being placed)
5. 7th Grade: No prior Wydown Costume or Tech experience
6. 6th Grade: Chosen by lottery .
The Technical Director reserves the right to not place a student on the crew based on previous issues with behavior, work ethic, and/or attitude including adherence and demonstration of the Wydown Ways.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Crew members must complete the Wydown Theatre Company Student Safety Permit Google Form before their first day of crew in order to participate.
Crew members are required to wear closed-toed shoes while working in Tech Crew.
Crew members are encouraged to wear or bring a change of clothes that can get messy as we work with sawdust and paint on a daily basis.
