Meet Your Counselor

My name is Mrs. Daleesha Cheatom and I am the proud professional school counselor at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School.  This is my 6th year as an educator. I obtained my Masters of Science in School Counseling from Mercer University and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University. My ultimate goal is to break all barriers that impede student success through the implementation of a Comprehensive School Counseling Program that focuses on the three domains: academic, social/emotional, and college/career. A few fun facts about me: I love traveling and spending time with my family, my favorite color is green, and I love skating.
