ACADEMIC ELIGIBILTY

Academic eligibility is determined at the end of every semester.

This would be at the end of every school year AND again after Winter Break.

A middle school student must pass 5 out of 6 classes for the semester.

If they only have 5 classes, they must pass 4.

The final grade must be 70 or above.

Final grade for each class is decided by averaging the 2 quarter grades together.

Q: If I tryout for a team during spring and make it and then become academically ineligible at the end of the year, am I cut from the team?

A: Yes

Q: If I am playing basketball, and I become academically ineligible after 1st semester, am I removed from the team?

A: Yes
