Team Mission Statement and Goals
The Instructional Technology team’s mission is to empower educators to design authentic learning experiences enabled by technology that will enhance student learning through exploration, creation, and engaging in critical analysis of academic content. Build teachers’ capacity to address inequities by utilizing technology that would prevent a CCPS scholar from leveraging technology effectively and creatively to thrive in a dynamic global society.
Our goals serve as areas of focus that align with our team’s mission:
Goal 1: Build the confidence and competency of educators to meaningfully integrate classroom technology by providing opportunities for educators to expand their professional learning and build the capacities necessary to design learning experiences enabled by technology.
Goal 2: Engage district leaders, school leaders, and instructional staff in establishing a vision for integrating technology that supports the guidance within the CCPS Instructional Framework through collaboration, modeling, and professional learning.
Goal 3: Build district-wide sustainable systems to implement and continually improve the use of educational technology to support learning.
