School Based Mental Health Model


A.C.E.S is the mechansim for connecting students to the school based supports from mental health providers within the Clayton County community and Metro-Atlanta area. A.C.E.S is a part of the mutiple levels of school based supports provided to students. Additionally, the professional development for school teams, awareness for the community, monitoring of services, communication to providers, and development of guidlenes for the program is offered by the The Department of Student Behavioral Health and Well-Being .

The objectives of A.C.E.S. is as follows:

  • Provide the school teams with a streamlined referral process to access mental health services

  • Connect the students and families with supports and services based on identified needs

  • Monitor goals and objectives set for students engaged in services
