By using this device and/or your @claylocalschools.org account you acknowledge and accept the terms of the Clay Local School District Technology Agreements as well as all Handbook Policies, Board Polices, and the Chromebook Agreement.

Technology Agreement

You agree:

● To only use the District’s computers, network, and internet access for educational use.
● To not vandalize or otherwise damage, the hardware and software assets of the District.
● To not knowingly or willingly access, copy, distribute, or search any information or data that is obscene, pornographic, threatening, or in violation of any laws or municipal ordinances.
● To not use the District’s technology assets to participate in copyright infringement or any other illegal activity.
● To not access, copy, modify, distribute, or delete any information or data owned or authored by individuals other than myself that is stored on the District’s network, servers, or computers.
● To not use chat, email, forums, or other messaging technologies on the District’s computers or network unless under the direction of a teacher or principal in the completion of a project or exercise.
● You understand that the District may at any time access, copy, or delete any information or data that you store on the district’s servers, network, or computers without prior notice.
● You understand and accept that at any time your activities and use of the District’s computers, network, servers, and internet access could be actively and/or passively monitored without prior notice.
● You (or in the event that the student is under the age of 18, parent or guardian) agree to indemnify and hold the School, School District, Service Providers, administrators, teachers, and staff harmless from any and all loss, cost, claims, or damages resulting from the student’s use of the District’s computers, network, servers, and internet access.
