General Virtual Learning Information

Detailed Teacher Guidance Documents

Please check back often as these are living documents and may be altered as our situation changes.

Virtual Learning Day guidance documents will help you prepare for our Virtual Learning Days.

The  Elementary Canvas Guidebook helps guide teachers through lesson creation in Canvas.  A condensed checklist of expectations can be found at the end of the document

Secondary teachers should be well on their way to well-developed and thought out courses inside of Canvas.  The course evaluation checklist is where each of our teachers should be in terms of content and development.  It also includes Virtual Learning Day Guidance.   Teachers who are new to the district can utilize their building teacher leaders and/or the technology coach to help fast-track their success.

The Student and Teacher Expectations are general, over-arching documents that apply to all students and teachers in the K-12 realm.   These are the general expectations for all virtual learning days whether the closure is planned, due to inclement weather, or Covid-19 related.
