Mrs. Lumm

Credentials and work experience:

I have worked for CCS for 10 years, 3 years at North Sashabaw as a Building and Instructional Aide, and 7 years at Andersonville with the Kids Connection program and as a substitute Kindergarten Aide. I have an Associates in Early Childhood, and have completed training in Love & Logic, Conscious Discipline, Leader in Me, and SafeSchools. I am also certified in CPR and First Aide.

Five things about me :

1. I have been married for 40 years to my wonderul husband Jerry.
2. We have 2 daughters. Jenny lives in California with her husband Luke and 2 sons, Charlie and Jerry. Jill lives in South Lyon with her husband Nate and 2 sons, Christoper and Ryan.
3. We love camping in our 5th wheel and enjoy the county, state, and national parks. I look forward to getting to all 50 states in my lifetime.
4. I enjoy making cards, smocking, sewing and quilting when I am indoors. When I am outdoors, I love waterfalls, mountains and absorbing the sound of nature.
5. I am semi-retired....I can't seem to break away from the children. I thoroughly enjoy and love working with children.

What I love most about my profession:

I enjoy watching children bloom into themselves and helping them to reach their goals and carry out their dreams. I also feel good when I can show much needed empathy to children and help them get through a tough situation and/or learn from their mistakes. I look forward to being able to say "I knew them when", and know that I had a hand in helping to mold them. I sincerely try to have a positive impact on everyone I meet and help to put a smile on their faces.
