Mrs. Harrison

Credentials and work experience:

I have a Associate of Arts degree from Weber State University in Dance Education. Additional university education in Child and Family Studies. I have completed Continuing Education in HighScope, Michigan Standards of Learning for Pre Primary Children, Conscious Discipline, and Conflict Resolution through Oakland Schools. I have worked at Clarkston Community Schools Early Childhood Center for 10 years. I have worked in the classroom with 3 and 4 year olds and Young Fives. I am currently providing early morning care for Kids Connection, offering support and teaching Creative Movement for our 3 and 4 year old all day program. I have taught Creative Movement and Modern Dance in Elementary and Secondary public and private education for 26 years.

What I love most about my profession:

I love working with young children through organic and mindful early learning experiences. I am passionate about integrating art and creative movement exploration in the curriculum.
