Kindergarten Teacher

I am an eighth year Kindergarten Teacher at Clarke Elementary. I graduated from Simpson College in 2010 with a degree in elementary education along with reading and early childhood endorsements. I completed my Master's Degree from Graceland College in 2015. My family lives in Osceola. I am married and have a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. I am so happy to be teaching in the community that I grew up in!

I chose teaching because I love making a difference in the lives of children! Kindergarten is a foundational year and I love that I get to help create that foundation for each of my children. I love to see them grow educationally and know that I am a part of that growth.

In my free time I love watching and supporting Clarke sports and activities! I am also a huge Iowa State Cyclone fan! I also love watching NFL football and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts.
