The Baker Library Media Center BELIEVES all students are capable of being lifelong readers and learners, INSPIRES students to develop their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, and provides resources and tools necessary to help students SUCCEED in life.

 Mission Statement

The purpose of the Baker Intermediate School Library Media Center program is to make the library a welcoming place to our students, staff, and community members as we promote a love of reading. We strive:

·         To support students and teachers in their curriculum goals and objectives. 

·         To provide engaging resources and accurate information that meets the diverse needs and reading levels of the students and staff.

·         To encourage students to pursue their personal interests through reading and research

·         To foster 21st century skills so students can collaborate in their learning, while embracing social responsibilities to be critical consumers of the technology and materials they encounter.
