About Me

I have three children, two of whom have graduated from Manning High School and one who is currently in the 12th grade at MHS. I am originally from Kingstree, SC but I have lived in Manning for over 20 years and it is home to me. This is my 24th year teaching in the Clarendon School District. When I am not teaching, I love to play the piano, work outside in my yard and I enjoy restoring wood furniture. 

I received my Bachelors Degree from FMU in Business Administration and then added on Elementary Education. My masters degree is from Columbia College in Divergent Learning and I have a specialist degree in Secondary Mathematics. I am National Board Certified in Adolescent Mathematics, GT endorsed and certified through PLTW to teach courses in the Engineering Pathway. Teaching is my passion.
