Abide by all rules of Scott’s Branch Middle/High and Clarendon County School District.
Students will not be permitted to leave the classroom 15 minutes after or before the bell rings to start and end class. Please utilize time in between the change of classes to get water and go to the restroom.
Grooming is to be done before or after class. This includes doing hair, putting on make-up, etc. These actions can be distractions and disrupt the learning process.
Bring the necessary materials to class every day. This includes but is not limited to writing utensils, notebooks, clean paper, and a CHARGED device.
Drinking and eating are not allowed in class. As a lab-based class, you do not want to risk contamination of laboratory exercises or what you may be drinking or eating. Eating and drinking in class also increases the likelihood of food droppings and spills which can lead to bugs and an unhealthy classroom environment.
Always respect the rights and opinions of others. It is okay to disagree with the views and opinions of others. However, in our disagreements, we must acknowledge others' rights to their opinions just as we have our own.
Students are to be seated when the tardy bell rings. Upon entering the classroom, you should be preparing for the academic activity for the day by beginning your bell work. Being seated reduces distractions.
