Yoki for Life

There are thousands of Hays members all around the world but, as we do not have the chance to see each other very often, we have come up with the idea of creating a Clan Hay mascot : Yoki.

Yoki is a lovely teddy bear made with love by Gael in Portsoy, located in northern Scotland.

Each Yoki is unique and handmade by Gael, using the Clan Hay tartan.

If you decide to adopt a Yoki, you will therefore receive its adoption certificate with your name on it.

The idea is that, throughout the year but also for specific events, such as christmas, new year, holidays … Yoki and its adoptive family can share pictures of happy moments with the other Hays around the world.

Yokis have already been seen in Cameroun, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Scotland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Slovenia … And there are still so many countries to discover ;)

Don't hesitate to follow Yoki's adventures on his Instagram account

Adopt a Yoki

We found cheapest bears and of much lower quality but we chose to work with Gael, a Scottish lady who lives only a few miles from Delgatie Castle in Clan Hay country, for the quality of the tartan and his work.

Yoki is hand made in Scotland by Gael. The tweed (made in Scotland by Lochcarron Weavers, 100% new wool Braeriach standard) costs about £60m.

Each Yoki requires 0.5m of tweed. She pays herself minimum wage of £10 hour, 3.5 hours work.

The production cost is the following : £65 = 75€ = 83$

As a Clan we help an association to buy and train guide dogs for blind people. For each Yoki sold, 15€ (16.5$) are donated to this association.

The delivery cost depend on the country where people lives and is maximum 10€ (11$).
