Mrs. Burgess is happy to be starting her fifth year at Cardinal John Foley School and looking forward to working with the faculty and students.  For fifty-four years she has enjoyed instructing students in library skills, effective use of technology, and encouraging other teachers and students to use technology.  She is looking forward to an exciting and wonderful year with the faculty and students of Cardinal John Foley School.


She is the chairperson for the Media Arts Curriculum committee for the

Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Mrs. Burgess has had the opportunity to update books for the National Catholic Educators Association.  The books titled A Working Reading List for Catholic School Students (click link to NCEA store) list titles that demonstrate the virtues of faith, hope and charity, justice, courage, forgiveness, and service.  She had the honor of being awarded the 2015 BLOCS Distinguished Teacher award in May, 2015.  Mrs. Burgess was named AOP Tech Technology Influencer 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and AOP Tech EdTech Social Media Ambassador 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
