Assistant Principal, City View Junior/Senior High
This is my second year as assistant principal. This is my tenth year in education. I taught for five years at the elementary campus and three years at the junior/senior high campus.
I am from Paradise, Texas where I attended K-12. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1993 and worked in business management for 15 years. I will graduate with my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University December 2017. I plan to start my superintendent certification and doctorate studies in the spring of 2018.
My wife, Meredith Utley, has been the junior high special education teacher at City View the previous four years and will be the RtI Coordinator this year. She is finishing her master's in counseling and plans to pursue her doctorate degree. My son, Nick, is 22 and attending Midwestern State University and majoring in Physics. Our daughter, Sailor, is 7 and a 2nd grader at City View Elementary. She is a member of the Wichita Elite Swim Team. When we are not at City View, we spend our time boating at Lake Texoma.
The mission of City View I.S.D. is to prepare each student for success through innovative and engaging instructional practices while encouraging continuous growth.
