The Lewisville Neighborhood Vitality Programs encourages volunteerism, engagement, empowering and motivating residents to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. We want to build strong neighborhoods in Lewisville for today and tomorrow and ensure long-term vitality in our neighborhoods!
The programs under Neighborhood Vitality support the goals and objectives identified under “Diverse & Thriving Neighborhoods”, one of the seven Big Moves outlined in the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The 2025 plan sets a clear vision for the kind of community Lewisville wants to be when it celebrates its centennial in 2025. The 2025 plan is a strategic plan that was developed with input from hundreds of residents and adopted by the Lewisville City Council in July 2014. The City recently adopted an updated 2025 Vision Plan on April 19,2021.
PEP: Property Enhancement Grant is a financial grant-rebate program for Lewisville homeowners to assist them with exterior home repair funding. Eligible applicants and projects may be approved for a fifty-percent (50%) matching grant-rebate, up to a maximum $5,000.
NEP: Neighborhood Enhancement Program provides a reimbursable grant for up to $12,500 to fund neighborhood improvement and enhancement projects that improves the quality of life for residents in Lewisville.
LYB: Love Your Block is a reimbursable mini-grant of $500 that encourages neighborhoods to organize neighborhood events and complete small projects that build stronger relationships and improve neighborhoods.
Lewisville Community Leaders Collection provides community members with the tools needed to inspire and create positive community change.
