Known and Loved Before You Did Anything (Luke 10:1-24)
Sunday Sermon
Have you ever wondered if your worth is tied to how well things turn out? In Luke 10 this Sunday, seventy-two of Jesus' followers went out with no plan B, no safety net, and no guarantee anyone would listen. When they came back buzzing about their success, Jesus said something that changed the whole conversation. If you know someone who's been quietly measuring themselves by results — a hard season, a discouraging year, a "did I do enough" kind of week — bring them along this Sunday.

Worship Night with Greg Coles
Saturday, July 25, 6-8pm
Join us Saturday evening, July 25th from 6-8pm as our worship team leads us into a night of worship, followed by a message from Greg Coles exploring showing up faithfully — first in our individual lives, then together as the body of Christ on Sunday, July 26. Come expecting to be encouraged and stirred toward faithfulness, both alone and together.
Women's Lake Play, Craft and Salad Dinner
Thursday, July 30
City Women! Come out to Pam Wright's home on Wildcat Lake for an afternoon of fellowship, crafting, lake play and a salad dinner. Join us on Thursday, July 30 from 3:00-6:00 PM.
First, we will be creating decoupage vases to be used at our annual garden party which is scheduled for August 22.
Next, for those willing, we will literally "jump in the lake!" Bring your swim/boating gear to swim or kayak and get refreshed. Kayaks and life jackets provided.
Last, we will dive into a delicious salad potluck. Please bring a salad to share. Dessert, ice tea and lemonade provided. For those with mobility issues, Pam can transport you in her pretty nifty Kubota down to the lake. Please use the link below to let us know you will be there.

Family Meeting & Hawaiian Potluck
Sunday, July 26
We've had a beautiful summer, so let's celebrate it together! Join us Sunday, July 26 right after the service for a Hawaiian-themed-potluck! Think of a delicious side-dish to share to compliment the meal. After we eat, we will stick around for our family meeting to talk through what's happening across our ministries and give a financial update. Come hungry, ready to fellowship and leave informed!
Mom's Morning Out
New Outreach Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to serve moms in our community, especially those whose husbands are deployed. Beginning September 9, 2026, we’ll offer three hours of free childcare the second Wednesday of each month at the church. We’ll welcome infants to pre-school aged children from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and provide care for them while their moms get 3 hours to spend as they like. More details are forthcoming; what we need right now are volunteers to care for the children. Your commitment can be for one or many sessions. Please click the link below to indicate your interest.

Walking through life's difficulties is never easy. If you're facing a challenging situation and need prayer support, we're here for you. We especially want to pray for the friends and loved ones of active military members, so please let us know who we can be praying for. Simply email your confidential prayer request to prayer@citychapel.cc. Your request will be shared with our dedicated prayer team, who will lift you up in prayer before the Lord who loves us and hears all our concerns. As a church family, we believe it's important to walk alongside one another and lay our burdens before God together. You can rest assured that all prayer requests remain completely confidential within the prayer team. We're grateful for the privilege of praying for you during this season.

Creative Crafters — Bring your individual creative projects to work on and share in Fellowship, Conversation and Prayer. Meets every Friday, 10-12 in the Fellowship Hall.
City Men Prayer — Every third Sunday, 10 minutes after service in the North Room.
Food Pantry — Available for church members and those in need.
NEXT — Join our once per month City Chapel integration class, designed to help newcomers understand our church vision and how to become a part of our church community. The gathering will be held on the last Sunday of every month, directly after the Sunday morning service.
Community Groups — Our community groups meet in various homes throughout Kitsap County. Each group has its own flair and format, but all groups discuss the most recent Sunday sermon highlights. Find a group near you!
