Students developed their skills in comprehending different types of texts, analyze those texts, then producing several texts of their own. In the process of learning, students also developed the necessary language skill to support composing those texts, including part of speech and language structures. This program is also in collaboration with Science program in some learning experiences related to some reading materials.

To show their competencies of Intelligent and Communicative dimensions, the students are required to participate in individual assessment of producing a simple biography writing. In this biography writing, students demonstrate their skills in reading as they will do some research to gather information of the chosen figure to write about.

At the end of semester, students also created an article on a board (which was provided as a learning kit) about a topic they have learned in Science program. In both of these individual assessments, students will be demonstrating writing skills where they need to write a text with focused ideas, logical organization and relevant and interesting word choice.
