Research in Microbial Ecology and Bioinformatics

Exploring the unseen majority

My passion is exploring the "unseen majority" – microbial communities with vast impacts on our world. I'm particularly interested in their metabolic interactions and their role in biogeochemical cycles. Additionally, I study how they influence eukaryotic evolution, especially animal gut microbiomes. I aim to understand their interactions with the environment and their broader implications in health and ecology.
