Welcome to Second Grade

My name is Mrs. Hoang. I have been teaching for 20 years at Gearity Professional Development School. I have taught first and second Grade. I will be your child's math and science teacher this year! I have a degree in Elementary Education, Grades K-8 from the University of Toledo, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy Development from Cleveland State University. I will be your child's math and science teacher this year! When I am not here, I am busy with three children of my own, three dogs, and a great husband. You will often find me on a sports field, or spending time with my family!

Meet Mrs. Retherford

My name is Mrs. Retherford and I will be your child's English Language Arts/Social Studies teacher. I'm proud to say this is my first year teaching at Gearity Professional Development School, however this is my fourth year in the profession. I hold a PreK-3 license of Early Childhood Education and Master's Degree of Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University. Currently, I am finishing the requirements toward my K-12 Reading Endorsement License through Notre Dame College. In my personal time, I love to travel, garden, and read. I look forward to partnering with you in the education of your child!
