Special Education

Resource Room

Resource rooms are classrooms where a special education program can be delivered to a student with a disability. During this time, specific needs are supported in resource room as defined by the student's IEP (Individualized Educational Plan). IEP goals are met and addressed using both skills lessons, as well as general education curriculum materials; which are differentiated in a way that will enhance each individual's learning experience.

Student Accommodations

When students with IEPs are in the general education classroom, they will receive program modifications and testing accommodations as prescribed in their IEP.
