大熊町で東北最大級のイチゴ栽培工場にお邪魔しました。

人力と機械を使い分け、年中収穫可能となった大熊町の新たな名産品は、徹底した管理のもと世界一の安全性を誇ります。イチゴの摘み取り体験を経て、普段口にする食品の「安全と安心」について考える機会になりました。

We visited one of the largest strawberry factories in the Tohoku region, located in Okuma Town.

By combining human skill with advanced technology, they can harvest Okuma’s new specialty all year round.Under strict management, these strawberries boast the highest level of safety in the world.After picking strawberries ourselves, it became a great opportunity to reflect on the difference between "safety" and "peace of mind" regarding the food we eat every day.

大熊町役場での追悼行事に参加しました。

震災復興の最前線、そのできる限り近くに立つことができました。テレビやネット越しにしか知らなかった汚染処理の最前線を目の当たりにし、福島の、そして日本のこれからに考えを寄せるきっかけになりました。

We were able to stand as close as possible to the frontline of disaster recovery.Seeing the reality of decontamination efforts—which I only knew through TV or the internet—with my own eyes,it became an opportunity for me to think deeply about the future of Fukushima and Japan.

「児童たちを救った山」として、語り継がれている大平山霊園。ガイドさんの案内を聴きながらフィールドワークを行いました。

Ohirayama Cemetery is passed down as "the hill that saved the children's lives."We conducted fieldwork there while listening to the local guide's explanations.

津波の威力を物語る、震災遺構の請戸小学校を訪れました。

We visited the remains of Ukedo Elementary School, which show the terrifying power of the tsunami.

棚塩工業団地
福島のこれからを見据え、クリーンな工業を推進する先進の地。

大規模な水素ステーションと、工場のエネルギーを賄うためのあたり一面の太陽光パネル、窒素と化合してアンモニアを作るプラントが見渡せるところで、ガイドさんの説明を聞きながら見学しました。

Looking ahead to the future of Fukushima, we promote advanced clean industry.
We toured a site where we could see large hydrogen stations, extensive solar panels providing energy for the factories, and a plant that produces ammonia by combining nitrogen. During the visit, we listened to the explanations from our guide.

おれたちの伝承館。

震災地にゆかりのあるアーティストの皆さんの作品が展示されている施設資料館、美術館。偶然にも数名の作者がいらしていて、作品にかけた想いを語ってくれました。

We visited museums and galleries displaying works by artists with deep ties to the disaster-affected areas.By chance, some of the artists were there and shared the passion and thoughts behind their work with us.
