The Y7 Maths Exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes long.

This linked document shows you all the topics that are going to be tested on the exam. To access the revision bundle questions you will need to open this document which has been posted to your Maths GC. 

Tips for revising for your Maths Exam:

• Revising maths involves doing maths - not just looking at your exercise book

• Use your review sheets from CT1 and CT2 to identify your weak topics

• Practise these topics by either using the Sparx Codes listed of the revision bundle questions

• If using Sparx, make sure you watch the video if you do not understand how to do a question

• If you are using the revision bundle questions, make sure you mark your work to check your understanding

• Revise different topics in rotation

• Always make sure you demonstrate your understanding by showing your working out clearly

• Make sure you read the question carefully this will help you to not throw away silly marks
