Emma is a full time teacher and Digital Learning Lead at Tring School, a Google Reference School in Hertfordshire. She quickly embraced Google Workspace for Education and chromebooks when a one-to-one chromebook scheme was introduced and is a Google Certified Trainer. She leads staff and student training in the use of Google Workspace and chromebooks.

Chris Lickfold

Chris is an Assistant Head at Tring School in Hertfordshire. During his time at the school Chris has been a head of department, line manager and since 2014 has worked on developing the use of IT across the curriculum. In 2015 with his colleagues on the Leadership Team, Tring School started using Google Workspace for Education and embarked on implementing an ambitious 1-1 Chromebook programme across the whole school. 

Chris has overseen this strategy and worked on its successful implementation. He is passionate about developing the use of technology in the classroom and providing pupils with experiences and skills for use beyond the curriculum. Since 2018 Chris has also been a qualified SENCO applying his knowledge of IT to his work with vulnerable pupils and those with SEND; he is also a Google Certified Trainer. 

Tring School

A large secondary school in Hertfordshire on the outskirts of London and is part of the Ridgeway Learning Partnership. There are 1550 students (including 350 students in our Sixth Form) and 200 staff. Students come from a range of backgrounds. The school ethos helps to create successful learners (wisdom), confident individuals (hope) and responsible citizens (comprehensive community). In the most Ofsted inspection (May 2023), Tring School was described as being "at the forefront of online learning".
