It is not hard to see that we are living in very tense times today as it pertains to race. No matter where you look from the news to social media, you will see consistent reminders that racism is still a problem. Not since the 60’s has there been a more need for deep reconciliation conversation. We have a great opportunity to see change in our nation but it will not be done without the church. The people of God lead and point to God’s heart and love for all colors of mankind. God’s people are the forerunners for what real love for your neighbor looks like. But, in order to see reconciliation in our communities and our nation it has to start with the church.

Racial reconciliation in the body of Christ and our nation will not be completed through large massive campaigns. Racial reconciliation will happen one person at a time in a loving sacrificial relationship. The message of Jesus and all the gospel encompasses travels the greatest through relationships.
