Welcome

Christ Church is a big family, where we seek to love God, care for each other and share that love and care with others. It is hard to show the life of a family in few lines on a website - the best way is to come and see for yourself. For nearly 60 years we have been welcoming new people and we would love to see you. Whether you have just moved to Dundonald or have been here a lifetime,  whether you are young or old or somewhere between, whether you are a committed Christian or just curious what it is all about, you will be very welcome. If you would like more information, please contact me using any of the ways listed below. Also, our social media is updated more regularly than website, use the links above to check for the latest updates and events.

Sunday Services

We meet together on Sunday mornings at 11am each week. The first 15-20 minutes of the service is for all ages together. After this, children age 3-16 usually go out to different sections of Lighthouse Sunday School.  Families can come to church together or if it suits better, you can drop children off at 10:50am and pick them up at 12:15pm.

If you aren't able to come to church or would like to see what goes on before you come, you can join in with our service from home:
- through our youtube channel,  live-streamed at 11am and available afterwards as well
- on DVD, delivered for free through your letterbox. If you would like to request a DVD, please contact Richard.

Practical & Pastoral Help

As a big family, a lot of care in Christ Church takes place as we look out for each other. This is Jesus’ plan for his church, as shown by all the ‘one another’ phrases in the New Testament.

As part of this, the minister, elders and pastoral visitors have roles to play in overseeing and providing pastoral care. You are very welcome to contact Richard at any time if there is anything you would like to talk about.

We have pastoral visitors who are available to call with people regularly. If this would be helpful for you, let us know. If you go into hospital, it is helpful if a family member or friend can let us know as we don’t usually hear directly from the hospital.

If you need practical help, you can speak to us in complete confidence and we will do what we can to arrange help. We are able to issue vouchers for Dundonald Foodbank and there may be other ways we can support you as well.
