eSpark provides an easy way to assess and meet students where they are with their specific needs in math and reading. At any time, students can work on their own unique reading or math “Quest” that automatically assigns adaptive lessons at their level and pace. Each Quest includes both direct instruction and practice activities to teach students key standards through engaging videos, games, activities, and quizzes.

SpellingCity offers a fun and easy way to practice spelling words and vocabulary. Students can click on the button and access the lists for each unit to practice for the weekly spelling test. There is no login code and games are free to access.

SplashLearn is another great math learning platform for students to practice their skills with games and activities that kids will love. Students seem to prefer this program over MobyMax, so if you are wanting to build math skills with a little more fun, this is probably the way to go. Click on the link and enter the class code.

We use Scholastic News in class to discuss current events, but students have access to archived articles as well. Click the link and enter our class password. Kids can view past articles and videos on their own or utilize current articles for classwork.
