HS2 Ltd will be available to meet with any residents from 11am until 4pm on Saturday 7 November at Wendover Memorial Hall, Wharf Road, Wendover. HP22 6HF.
The HS2 Residents' Commissioner has asked HS2 Ltd to hold more of these information events for each CFA over future months. As soon as dates for these are published, we will endeavour to let you know.
LONDON LUTON AIRPORT
In October, the CCG and the Chilterns Conservation Board jointly met with the management of LLA, when we were able to raise our continued concerns over the Airport's planned expansion and discuss potential ways to help minimise the environmental impact of this and present operations over the Chilterns and its AONB.
Do please continue to complain directly to the Airport whenever you are disturbed by noisy aircraft, particularly at night. Your complaint will be investigated, logged and included in quarterly statistics which are published on the Airport's website and in its Annual Monitoring Review.
You can access the Minutes of the meetings of the Airport's Consultative Committee which represents residents and the Annual Review using this link: http://www.llacc.com/
The CCG continues to work closely with other community action groups, local Councils and the Chilterns Conservation Board to protect and preserve the special characteristics of the Chilterns AONB. We are always pleased to hear from our supporters on any matter relevant to our mission statement.
Best wishes to you all.
