Our Library Media Specialist is Chuck Baker. Mr. Baker is a native of North Carolina.  He was a classroom teacher for 12 years. He earned his masters in library science and information science (MLIS) from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 1996. He has been on staff at Cheraw Intermediate School since 2022. Mr. Baker is the father of two grown sons that live in Columbia. His hobbies include reading, community theater, and swimming.

Mr. Baker also serves as the representative for the Chesterfield County School District Library Media Specialists to the Upper Palmetto Education Consortium and a district librarian supervisor to the SC Department of Education.
