Supporting Our Work
With thanks to our supporters
Starting February 21, and continuing for 12 weekly sessions, the Chester Community Coalition will be offering trauma-informed programming and art therapy to children and parents in Chester who are survivors of violence. Counselling sessions will be in the evening, so working parents can participate.
Your donations and volunteer time mean we can offer families
- Safe door-to-door transportation
- Supper (simple fare for 50 kids, parents and group leaders)
- Child care for children too young for therapy.
To do this successfully, we need you.
Donations pay the rent and buy printer ink for outreach.
You can donate quickly and easily through the button below.
To donate by mail, checks can be made out to UAC/Chester Community Coalition and sent to:
Urban Affairs Coalition, Attn: Lee Wall,
1207 Chestnut St, 7th Floor,
Philadelphia, PA 19107.
Every donation helps.
We need volunteers to help with childcare, drive vans to pick up and drop off our families and serve meals during our evening programs, once per week from September through December and February through May. Volunteers can also help with fundraising and program operations.
If you are interested in joining us complete our form today! We will respond within 24 hours and provide you more information.
