Next Generation- Phase 1 Progress
In November 2022, the voters of Cheshire overwhelmingly endorsed the plan to consolidate three outdated elementary schools into two new buildings. This site outlines the work of the Cheshire School Building Committee and the progress being made on this project that will enhance the Cheshire community for years to come. The goal is to open these schools in the fall of 2026.

Coming up Next:
This summer will be marked by site improvements at both locations. This PowerPoint (from the 4/30 community meeting) illustrates the different phases of the work to be done. At the North End, most of the work will be focused on creating a level site for building construction. Norton will see an access road cut behind the building and through the back of the property to Sharon Dr.
