Hello first grade families! I am so very blessed to teach first grade at Peakview! My four children attended Peakview from Kindergarten through 5th grade. My oldest son is an engineer, my oldest daughter teaches kindergarten in the district, my younger son is a contractor, and my youngest daughter is a Biology/Ecology student at CSU. My husband taught elementary school for 35 years and is now retired. We have a seven-year-old grandson and a three-year-old grandaughter. I am lucky to have been connected to Peakview since 1992, first as a parent volunteer, then as a substitute teacher, and then a second grade teacher. This is my ninth year teaching at Peakview. I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, hiking, exploring bookstores, and traveling. I am very excited to learn alongside your children this year! 

Hello first grade families! My name is Jennifer Rishea and I am excited to welcome everyone to a new school year! I began my career in Cherry Creek in 2000 at Summit Elementary. This will be my 12th year teaching at Peakview and my 4th year on the 1st grade team here. My husband and I have 2 daughters - a 7th grader and a freshman in college - who both attended Peakview. We have 3 adorable dogs - a standard poodle and 2 Schnoodles!  Our family enjoys playing games, watching movies, spending time in the mountains and traveling (especially to Disney)! I’m looking forward to a great year!

Hi!  My name is Teri Rodriguez, but some of you may know me as Mrs. R. This will be my 18th year teaching at Peakview, my second-year teaching first grade here and my 20th year teaching in elementary school. Before that, I spent over 20 years teaching preschool and running my own in-home day care. I absolutely love teaching young children, and it is my passion to teach early literacy. 

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family! I have been married for 38 years, have 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren and one crazy Westie named Bailey.

I love to do anything outside: gardening, walking, hiking, camping, snorkeling and spending time on most any mountain or beach.
