Welcome Back! Here's the News...

Empty Bowls

This year CHVE third grade students will be participating in the Empty Bowls Project. Every 3rd grade student will create a bowl for this charity event. The Empty Bowls are a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. We are helping make a difference by donating proceeds to Food Bank of the Rockies and other local food banks. Every $3 dollars raised provides a meal through a food bank.

This year our third-grade students earned $555.00!

That is 185 meals!

Cherry Hills Snow Plow

The last few years the city of Cherry Hills Village has asked our school, along with St. Mary's and Kent, to paint one of their 3 snowplows blades. The 5th grade students were able to enter a contest to win the honor of designing and help paint the plow. This years winner was Kenzi Le!

She and two finalists painted our plow. Be on the look out as the snow falls this winter!
