Curbside Library

Exciting news! We have started our curbside library. Go online NOW to begin reserving your items!

What is the curbside library?

Through the CHS curbside library, students may request books online and pick them up from the security office starting on Tuesday of each week. If you are unable to pick up your books on a Tuesday you may come on any other day but Monday during regular school hours. If books are not picked up during the week they are requested then they will be collected on Monday and returned to the shelves.

How does it work?

Requesting a book is easy. Watch this short video or follow the steps in the Quick Start Guide- English Version, Spanish Version

To pick up your books:

• You may come anytime during regular school hours on Tuesday through Friday

• Enter through the front doors to the building by the security office.

• Wear a mask.

If you are feeling sick or are in quarantine, please have someone who is not sick pick up your books for you.

What if I can’t pick up my book?

• If you no longer want your books, please let Mr. Bordok know so he can make them available to the next person.

• Items not picked up for one week will be returned to the shelves, unless you contact Mr. Bordok to make other arrangements.

• If you are unable to come to school during our service hours please reach out so we can try to help.

• If you are feeling sick or are in quarantine please do not pick up your books or have someone else pick them up for you.

How do I return my book?

Checkouts are for 3 weeks. If you finish your book earlier please return it for the next person. You may renew your book online as long as nobody else is waiting for it.

You do not need an appointment to return library materials. You may return your books to the security office. Items will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before being checked in and recirculated.
