To improve hand and Finger Strength

  1. Try these exercises when playing with playdoh, putty, or modeling clay:

    • Full grip, squeeze the putty in each hand, and squeeze as hard as possible so you can see fingerprints

    • Pancake: Flatten the putty on top of a table with each hand

    • Hot Dog: Roll putty into a log on the table using both hands with palms flat

    • Snake/snail: Roll putty into a long snake with fingertips, pinch snake flat with thumb and fingertips, alternating fingers, then roll flat snake into a snail
