The Internationalization (IZN) Awards is the highlight of the awards night that aims to honor Philippine HEIs and Philippine HEI leaders that championed the internationalization of Philippine Higher Education.

FOR APPLICATION/NOMINATION:

• Global Citizenship Awards

Category A - Public and Private HEIs, Category B - State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs)

This award will be given to HEIs with the best programs or projects that promoted the social, political, environmental, and economic development of the HEI and the Philippine society. The programs or projects must embody how the HEIs contributed in furthering the internationalization of Philippine Higher Education as a part of a global network.

• Best IZN Practice during the Pandemic

Category A - Public and Private HEIs, Category B - SUCs and LUCs

This award will be given to HEIs with the best project or program which utilized existing resources and innovatively supported learning and engagement during the pandemic.

• Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Category A - Public and Private HEIs, Category B - SUCs and LUCs

This award will be given to the institution with the best social engagement activities or initiatives. The initiatives must aim to advance quality higher education by reaching out to the community and inspiring social responsibility among its stakeholders.

FOR NOMINATION:

• Leadership Award

For executive officials of HEIs who exemplify transformative and futuristic leadership in internationalization of Philippine Higher Education

The Internationalization Leadership Award is the only IZN award accorded to an individual, in recognition of their exemplary leadership in pushing forward the internationalization of Philippine Higher Education.

This award celebrates the significant contributions of the outstanding leader in fostering the integration of international and intercultural dimensions to the purpose, functions, and delivery of their respective HEI; cultivating an equitable and sustainable higher education landscape; and exemplifying resilience and humility in service, integrity, excellence, and development- driven mindset.

CHED Regional Offices

This award will be given to high-performing CHED regional offices that showcase innovative efforts championing the internationalization of Philippine Higher Education.
